Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA2)

Welcome to KLIA2

KLIA2 is a huge and budget airport in Kuala Lumpur. It has a international and local flights. And can accommodate 45 million passenger annually with many more shops.

We booked a flight to KL Malaysia on March 15, 2015 and from KL Malaysia to Kathmandu, Nepal on March 16, 2015 and we're so excited promise. 

Day 1: March 15, 2015
Our flight must have arrived at one of the furthest away gates as the walk to immigration was a trek. Honestly we lost because I just need to wear my contact lens to see clearly the path and what we did Is follow the crew member and thank God. It wasn't busy when we arrived so we waited less than 5 minutes to get our passport stamped.

Arrivals Shopping

Once you pass through customs and immigration and get outside you are greeted to what looks like a giant shopping mall, which you will need to navigate your way through to exit. There's a lot of shopping store in KLIA2 see this below picture, I want to buy Chupa Chups

Baggage Claim Hallway

After you pass to this area or duty free. You will now pick-up your check-in baggage, you will see a big monitor on what number you will go, us is number # 10.

Money Changer

After we pickup are baggage , we look into a money changer and what we found is CIMB Bank Currency Exchange from Php 4,000.00 to RM 358.80. There's a lot of Money Changer in KLIA2 such as CIMB Bank, MAYBank and etc.

Accommodation

There's a  hotel in KLIA2 which is Capsule by Container Hotel inspired by Japanese capsule hotel.

Eating

There are many restaurant, fast food and a food court from cheapest to expensive. You will see a Mcdonald's, Starbucks, Burger King and etc.
