Fly via AirAsia X to Tribhuvan International Airport Experience

The city of Kathmandu
We are now flying via AirAsia X to Tribhuvan International Airport. Airasia X is a  long-haul, low-cost affiliate carrier of the AirAsia Group that currently flies to destinations in the Asia Pacific region.

We book a flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Kathmandu, Nepal. Me and my zitart is far from each other in the plane because we book ourselves separately. And he is lucky because he's located at the window. But me, Im seating in the middle of the seat near window, as the pilot said that we are now landing in the tribhuvan international airport I got a shot of the city of nepal-Kathmandu. After the turbulent and bumpy descent landing we are now landed in the airport.

Tribhuvan International Airport is quite a dusty place in the morning and evening there was no light outside. We are following the crowd in the buses and follow the instruction to fill-up the form the visa upon arrival. The forms are self-explanatory but make sure you have a passport size photo for your application.

We have a short visit in Kathmandu , so we applied 15 days, they gave us 7 days visa only. There are also available visa for 30 and 90 days.

Here are some photo's taken at the airport:

Taxi Drivers are waiting for the tourist
Our experience with the taxi is so bad. Our hotel is in Thamel which is located in Kathmandu wherein from the airport it took less than 15 minutes only. Then we contract a taxi Driver that we only pay for 400 rupees but upon entering in Thamel he contact the hotel and he ask to pay his call grrr. so we pay for 500 rupees gosh.
